The faculty was established by the Republican Decree No. (206) dated 19/7/2003. The study system in the Faculty is five academic years. The academic year is divided into two independent semesters. The faculty includes modern applied specializations that the labor market lacks and other similar faculties in other Yemeni universities lack.

The faculty awards the Bachelor Degree in Engineering for the following specializations:

 1. Communications and Computer Engineering

 2. Information Technology Engineering

 3. Software Engineering

 4. Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems

 5. Mechatronics Engineering

 6. Network Engineering and Distributed Systems

 In addition, the faculty awards an academic Master Degree in the following specializations:

1. Master Degree in Engineering (Information Technology)

 2. Master Degree in Engineering (Communications and Computer Engineering)

 3. Master Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems)

4. Master Degree in Engineering (Project Management)

Duration of study in the faculty: Five years.

Study system: Two-semester system.
